I bought these as I liked the look of them and I'd never had a pair of "posh" wellies before, wish I hadn't bothered as they have no substance to them and very tight around the toes, I don't have wide feet and I was glad to get them off after a short walk with the dog. The adjustable strap around the top of the leg is next to useless as very hard to adjust, you'll get better value from a cheap pair.. Very disappointed in these.On receiving these wellingtons the right boot felt a bit tight compared to the left. On measuring I found that the left foot was 30cm, heel to toe, and the right foot 29cm hence the odd fit. I have a made in Britain pair of Barbour wellies that have lasted years and are just wearing out. All this cheapjack Far East produced stuff does not compare.I need a sturdy boot for walking on hard, soft and uneven surfaces. I have wide calves and take a size 7. These boots are excellent very sturdy but comfortable too. The contrast piping and strap are a nice addition.Nice quality and good tread. Good price. Not suitable for someone with large calves.
