Review of Waterproof Duffel Bag, Dry duffel bag with diving function, LEGCOAST, IPX7 waterproof rating, Large capacity 80L, Suitable for Water sports Kayaking Boating Rafting MotorbikesIt was the wrong size for what I picked it for, I was hoping I could carry my telescope in it. The scope part fits, but I could not get the tripod in. So, one complaint is that there is missing data on the sales page for length of the zipper. The zipper opening is 27". The short zipper is the reason I can’t get the tripod in the bag, it would fit otherwise. The bag itself is very rugged and seems made of tough material. The zipper is hard to work because of the waterproof design, but it does work fortunately it has a zipper pull and comes with a spare one. What I think this bag would be excellent for is what they call a “go bag”, for emergencies. It’s water resistant, tough, large, seems durable, and would keep insects out (water proof must be bug proof I would think). Put a few silica gel packs inside and you could put some clothes, blankets, a flashlight, radio, etc and seal them in this bag, just throw a few extra items in if you have to use it.That’s probably what I would use it for.Material is almost like yeti’s. I have not used it yet but it feels like it will hold up pretty good. I got this to secure cargo in my cargo box for long drives. My cargo box is not water proof but with this duffel bag i don’t need to wrap my cargo in plastic bag to keep water outWas looking for a big duffel bag, and accidentally found a waterproof one, too boot. Got this for storing and carrying lighting equipment, to protect them from occasional roof leaks in our cabin, and wet weather when I take them to events. Good stuff, and comes with a smaller bag that's kinda cool for smaller items. I Dig It ?i live in a state that gets a lot of rain and i have to say everything is still dry. high quality and a durable and strong bag and i will buy againThis is a totally decent water-oriented duffel at a good price. It's large, can hold plenty of gear. Materials and workmanship appear to be fairly good quality. I haven't field-tested this under stress conditions, and I wouldn't deliberately throw something in the water just to see if it works - not my jam. I foresee this being very useful on kayak/SUP trips of longer durations when gear needs are great. Wet weather luggage also a potential application. Good value by the looks of it....This bag is a little larger than I expected but that is not necessarily a bad thing. It can hold several beach towels inside and more. Zipper is also good quality but a bit hard to unzip. This is a good product for the price. Definitely recommend. This duffel is not the prettiest, but it's not designed for looks. It's basically fabric coated in a thick layer of rubber to prevent even the smallest amount of water from ruining your stuff. The zippers are a little bit hard to open because, although they're standard zippers, there are tight sealing flaps over them to prevent water from seeping through the zipper. The smaller bag is made of the same material. It doesn't have zippers, but instead folds to keep the water out. Using the bag in a bag technique is designed to keep extra sensitive items dry.We tested it in the swimming pool. I shoved some towels into the bag and threw it in the pool. It didn't want to submerge - because of the tight zipper and air leftover in the bag, it kind of bobbed on the surface. I pushed it down for a few minutes, and could see air bubbles slowly leaking out from around the zipper. After a quick 3 minute dunk, the towels inside of the bag were bone dry. I dried off the exterior of the bag before opening it to be sure I wasn't letting water in from opening it. The fabric from the zipper was slightly damp near the closure where we noticed the air bubbles, but there was no water inside of the bag and no liquid on the towels.Since it doesn't want to sink, that should prevent any issues with water getting into the zipper, as long as you get it out of the water fast enough. Leaving some airspace inside of the bag when using it on water will add an additional layer of protection against your stuff getting ruined.I'll update this if it ever lets our stuff get wet. No update = still dry. This bag is huge. It looks like a small body bag and holds a ton of stuff. It is quite waterproof. The material seems a little thin compared to some other bags, but that also saves on weight. It still seems durable enough to last quite a while. The included “handbag” seems a bit odd and I can’t think of a use for it other than to keep some extra things dry, but it is nice it’s included. Great for camping, boating, fishing, or anything else you can think of.
